When The House Magazine set out to evolve beyond its roots as a regional lifestyle blog based Wyoming, the brand needed more than exposure. It needed an entire overhaul of it's vision, infrastructure, and cultural credibility. Great Social Club partnered closely with the publication at a pivotal moment, helping transform it into an internationally recognized editorial platform through creative leadership, high-level production, and strategic storytelling.
This case study highlights how Great Social Club helped redefine The House Magazine’s identity, scale its reach, and position it alongside globally respected fashion and culture publications.
Introduction
Founded in Gillette, Wyoming, The House Magazine began as a small but thoughtfully curated lifestyle blog called The House of Perez. While the publication had a strong point of view, it lacked the creative systems, industry access, and editorial scale needed to compete on a global level.
Great Social Club entered the picture as both a creative partner and strategic driver. Founder Natalie Steger became Co-Founder and Creative Director of The House Magazine, leading the publication through a critical growth phase from late 2021 through mid-2023. During this period, Great Social Club assumed responsibility for editorial vision, creative direction, public relations, and full-scale production.
The Great Social Club Approach
1. Creative Leadership & Editorial Vision Great Social Club established a refined editorial identity — elevating the magazine’s visual language, storytelling standards, and cultural relevance. This included shaping cover concepts, long-form interviews, and narrative-driven features that resonated with both readers and industry tastemakers.
2. High-Profile Editorial Production GSC produced more than a dozen covers and numerous features, overseeing everything from casting and talent relations to styling, photography, production, and post-production. The magazine’s first print cover launched in January 2022, marking a major milestone in its evolution.
3. Access to Talent & Industry Networks Leveraging deep relationships across fashion, entertainment, and media, Great Social Club brought recognizable talent and respected creatives into the publication. Featured subjects included actors, musicians, models, and cultural figures — significantly increasing the magazine’s visibility and credibility.
4. Strategic Brand Partnerships Great Social Club secured collaborations with luxury and fashion brands such as Chloé, Van Cleef & Arpels, and RVN Fashion, integrating brand storytelling organically into editorial content. These partnerships strengthened both the magazine’s reputation and its commercial sustainability.
5. Digital & Social Growth Through intentional social strategy and performance-driven content distribution, Great Social Club helped grow The House Magazine’s digital footprint. Cover stories and reels achieved strong engagement, repeat traffic, and evergreen performance, positioning the publication for long-term growth rather than short-term spikes.
