Filipina jeweller and gemologist Janina Dizon‘s foray into the world of jewelry and design evolves each year with her take on modernity and tradition. Janina comes from a line of all-star Filipina jewellers, namely her mother, Jul Dizon and grandmother, Paz Bañas. As a third-generation jeweller, Janina’s style became known for its blend of modernity and tradition.

In 2008, she opened her store at The Peninsula Manila, and the brand has flourished. Janina continuously immersed herself in different projects that teetered towards creating edgy, classic, and brilliant pieces that showed her inspired love for everything she took in. Taking inspiration from the different facets of fashion, music, eras and East meets West attitude, she was able to create one-of-a-kind charms, statement necklaces, tiaras, and earrings, especially seen in her new enamel-focused jewelry line “Joier Janina”.

This time around Janina found herself in another exciting project with The ICA Vanicx batch 2000 where they partnered up for an intimate collaboration made for a worthy cause. The Janina Dizon x Vanicx Batch’s collection comprises hand-crafted 14K gold pendants featuring a meaningful selection of flowers close to their hearts. According to the jeweller, the designs were chosen to express,”their dearest wishes for ourselves and our loved ones.”
